Research

Scientific research has been and remains a fundamental component of the educational and formative training assumed by the European Drăgan University of Lugoj. In achieving the objectives of scientific research, both faculty members and students from various departments are involved, based on structured programs in the following areas:

• Scientific research topics funded annually through CNCSIS Grants (National Council for Scientific Research in Higher Education);
• Scientific research topics funded by the Ministry of Education and Research annually through Programs within the National Research-Development and Innovation Plan (PNCDI);
• Scientific research topics funded based on Research Contracts or Agreements concluded with commercial companies, public institutions, or other organizations;
• Books, courses, and other specialized teaching materials;
• Student scientific circles;
• Own specialized journals (Annals of the European Drăgan University of Lugoj. Economic Series, Studium Legis, Modern Didactics);
• Publication of articles, papers, and studies in ISI-indexed journals (Institute for Scientific Information from Philadelphia – USA);
• Publication of articles, papers, and studies in specialized journals included in international databases (BDI);
• Publication of articles, papers, and studies in domestic specialized journals;
• Publication of articles, papers, and studies in annals, economic and legal studies, scientific bulletins, and publications from national universities and research institutions;
• Publication of articles, papers, and studies in annals, economic and legal studies, scientific bulletins, and publications from universities and research institutions abroad;
• Organizing internal scientific events (conferences, symposia, scientific communication sessions, round tables, workshops, and other scientific events);
• Faculty participation in conferences, symposia, and scientific communication sessions organized abroad;
• Faculty participation in national and international conferences, symposia, and scientific communication sessions organized in Romania;
• Student participation in conferences, symposia, and scientific communication sessions organized abroad;
• Student participation in national and international conferences, symposia, and scientific communication sessions organized in Romania;
• Student participation in Summer Schools organized by higher education institutions in Romania and abroad;
• Student participation in the National Olympiad of Economics Students, organized annually by the Association of Economics Faculties in Romania.
