The university library provides students with direct access to information specific to the fields of Economic Sciences and Law. The space where the UED Library operates offers optimal conditions for study and research for both students and teaching staff. It includes a study hall accommodating at least 10% of the total number of students and a reading room with a number of seats corresponding to at least 10% of the total student body.
Drăgan European University of Lugoj ensures the acquisition of specialized journals and periodicals relevant to the fields of study.
In March 2018, the University signed an accession agreement with the Association of Universities, Research and Development Institutes, and Central University Libraries in Romania – “Anelis Plus”, becoming a full member of the Association. Consequently, through this association, the University acquired access to the SCOPUS online bibliographic and bibliometric database, which includes scientific journals delivered via the Internet. SCOPUS provides access to abstracts of scientific articles from over 18.500 international scientific journals published by more than 5.000 international publishers.
The library also offers other learning resources freely accessible to the University’s students, including national and international databases. The University has subscribed to one of the most prestigious European publishers, providing access to legal, jurisprudential, and doctrinal resources. Through this subscription, teaching staff, students, and master’s students have access to up-to-date information in their respective fields of study.
The UED Library enables students to conduct research in the University’s fields of interest, with volumes and journals covering the full spectrum of disciplines for each program.
The study subjects included in the curricula of the Faculties have course syllabi available in both printed and electronic formats. Students can access these syllabi through the University Library. Additionally, the University, through the Library, provides students with courses and other study materials specific to each subject included in the Faculties’ curricula.
