At 25 years of activity, Drăgan European University stands out through recognition and prestige in the landscape of Romanian higher education. Created through the initiative and contribution of Professor Dr. Josif Constantin Drăgan, as a tribute to his native land, the University has contributed to the revival of Lugoj, an old and traditional cultural center of Banat. Through its mission, Drăgan European University represents an investment in education, a strategic factor for development, and a key element in shaping the human factor in a multidimensional way. The primary focus of Drăgan European University is quality. To achieve this, we rely on competent professors, talented and ambitious students, and a well-equipped material base. The integration of information technology into every academic discipline has been a continuous priority. As a result, graduates are able to practice their profession immediately after completing their studies. Alongside teaching activities, research has also been promoted and supported as the university’s hallmark. Each faculty has a scientific research plan and an editorial plan, participating in both national and international conferences and symposiums. Additionally, each faculty has established connections with the local community in the western region of the country, opening its doors to the social and economic environment. If up until now we have built, both literally and figuratively, a modern university, for the future, we envision Lugoj as a University Citadel recognized and appreciated everywhere.
